01 What is the Samsung Odyssey League?
The Samsung Odyssey League is a tournament run by Samsung for competitive enthusiasts across multiple countries, bringing together competitive hopefuls to show their skills and compete against each other for grand prizes.
02 Why is Samsung running the Odyssey League?
Samsung enjoys bringing people together, and gaming is one the best ways to do that. We enjoy competitive esports, and anyone can enter from the countries involved, to showcase their skills and win amazing prizes.
03 Which game is being played throughout the 2021 Odyssey League?
In 2020’s Odyssey League, Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds was the title of choice. This year, players will compete in Epic Games’ Rocket League, a game involving the incredible combination of football and cars.

05 Who can participate?
Anyone from the countries listed in our official rules and is over the age of majority in their country. Participants require an active account on PSN, XBOX Live, Steam or Epic Games with access to Rocket League. Don’t forget your two teammates!
06 What regions are there and where can I compete? What dates will the events be on?

07 Where can I find the official tournament rules?

08 What does my team do if our opponents don’t show up for the match?
In case your opponents don't show up for the match, please use the "Call Admin" button inside the FACEIT Matchroom and an admin will be with you shortly to advance you to the next stage.
09 How do I know if I’ve qualified for the Regional Finals?
Once you have qualified, you will receive an email from FACEIT with further information about your participation in the next stage.
10 When is each tournament stage happening?
- The Open Qualifiers run from July 23rd to August 2nd.
- Regional Finals will take place from August 7th to the 15th.
- Finally, the European Finals will happen from August 27th to the 29th.

14 I signed up, but haven’t been entered into the tournament. What can I do?
The tournament is being hosted and run by FACEIT, so head to their support page if you have any issues signing up or at any point during the tournament.

19 How do I check my team into the competition?
All Samsung Odyssey competitions that are open to sign-up have a check-in phase before the events start. Check-in begins 1 hour before the event and ends 30 minutes before the event. During this time, each team has to confirm their participation by checking in on the top right of the tournament page. Teams that miss the check-in will be automatically removed from the event, and their spot will be open again. After the check-in phase ends, the signups open again and all teams can sign up again for the remaining spots before the event begins.

21 Pausing and Restarting?
Wondering what happens when attempting to pause the match or if crashes/restarts happen? Pausing is not allowed within a Rocket League match on FACEIT.
If you disconnect from a match due to:
- Game Crash
You must reconnect as quickly as possible to avoid your team from losing the game.
Please keep in mind that all decisions made by the admin are final and must be done without delay in order to ensure the smooth running of the event.
22 How do I contact support during the tournament?
For any issues or questions encountered during live matches, please use the “CALL ADMIN” button in the matchroom. We aim to provide efficient and fast support to all teams and players and this way allows us to identify the match and teams in question and help the fastest way. The “CALL ADMIN” button is the only way to get assistance during ongoing events.
You can also use the Samsung Odyssey Rocket League Discord for general inquiries about the Samsung Odyssey competitions, and to provide feedback or ask questions outside of the regular tournaments. You can access that Discord here.
23 How and when will the prizes be paid out?
- 1st Place: 15,000 EUR
- 2nd Place: 7,500 EUR
- 3rd Place: 1,750 EUR
- 4th Place: 750 EUR
Prizes will be paid out via BACS or SWIFT transfer within 30 days of completion of the European Finals
